Scotiabank Caribana Festival Guide

Easily one of the most exciting and anticipated events during Scotiabank Caribana is the release of the annual festival guide. Maybe it's the informative event listings, the tasty recipes, the heartwarming editorials on Caribbean culture...but most of all I'm guessing it's the Scorching hot photo shoots featuring the sexiest girls Toronto has to offer in skimpy costumes? hmmmm...guess we'll never know. I'll admit this has been my favorite part. As the creative director I have the tedious and unenviable task of selecting models, securing exotic locations, concocting elaborate themes, make up, hair and making sure everyone gets fed.

Over the years we've shot at some amazing locations including Canada's Wonderland, The Toronto Zoo (guess who was the biggest attraction that day? No it wasn't the hippos), On a pirate ship, Medieval Times and more. This year we decided to try something different and do shoot in studio, which has it's advantages and disadvantages as well. I've been blessed to work with some amazing photogs (Kareem Ajani, Rowan Marks), models (too many to name), make up artists (Asha), designers, (Ashley), etc, etc, etc.. Please let me know what you think of this years festival guide (GO GET IT FIRST) and let me know what you like to see more of OR less of (I'm not referring to the costumes here). This year I also made sure to do a "behind the scenes" so everyone knows just how hard we work!!!
